Kim is the Customer Success Manager for Avkin. She works with customers to ensure product integration, produce educational content, and is a key facilitator for product development at Avkin. Kim’s career as a paramedic/firefighter eventually lead her to simulation via the training and education path where she developed a passion for simulation through many interactions with like-minded people and numerous mentors along the way. Her experience is that simulation is the opportunity to train as we fight and improve patient outcomes. Being a part of that goal, of the people dedicated to improving patient safety is what motivates her. Kim maintains that open minds, honest conversations, and respect are the ways we will recognize all the places we can improve as individuals, as teams, and in our systems. In her spare time, Kim can be found at the softball field supporting her daughter, spending time outdoors with family and friends, or clowning around with the family’s Goldendoodle, Fox.
