Join us for this one hour showcase of the latest Trucorp training manikins and training simulators. TruCorp have 20+ years’ experience within the medical simulation market. We are committed to the development of anatomically correct products to deliver medical best practice. Meet the Presenter(s):

Ciaran McKenna MPA
Consultant at Emergency Medicine Northern Ireland
Dr Ciaran McKenna is a consultant in Emergency Medicine from Northern Ireland. He completed his undergraduate training at Queen’s University of Belfast before undertaking post-graduate training in the Mersey Deanery in England. Ciaran is also a HEMS consultant with the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, in partnership with Air Ambulance Northern Ireland. Dr McKenna has also completed a post graduate certificate in medical education and a diploma in Immediate Medical Care. Dr McKenna has a keen interest in utilising novel technologies to provide high quality and cost effective medical simulation solutions. He led the development of the TruMonitor app, utilising portable tablet devices to deliver a simulated medical monitor to enhance training opportunities, especially for in situ training. This app was recently supplemented with a simulated mechanical ventilator, allowing students to become familiar with interacting with a mechanical ventilator, and reacting to various pathologies introduced in real time by an instructor. Dr McKenna works closely with the product development teams at TruCorp to maintain the quality of existing products, and also to support the development of novel new simulation products.
