Abstract:
Attendees will get insights into real experiences coming from the introduction of digital solutions based on Games and Gamification approaches to the health and healthcare environments. Participants will gain “serious games” experience from the speaker who has almost two decades in the field, sharing lessons learned from international research in heatlhcare education and training. Examples will range from medical education to supporting children with cystic fibrosis, to obesity prevention to tele-rehabilitation and will underline the methodology of participatory design. Also covered will be inclusion of the key target learner group to develop learning objectives during design phase, and how to find and select Serious Games which align with key clinical simulation learning objectives.
