Working with industry experts’ data which was analyzed, algorithms were developed to identify learner percentiles which allows facilitators to monitor nursing student performance. Dr. Gonzalez is the VP of Healthcare Innovation at Sentinel U. She is the immediate past president of INACSL and a recognized simulation expert. In the fall of 2020, she was recognized by the prestigious American Academy of Nurses as a Fellow (FAAN). She is also a fellow of the Academy of Nurse Educators (ANEF). Her nursing career focuses on advancing the science of nursing education through the use of simulation and its impact on learner outcomes. Dr.Gonzalez has a very specific body of work that has resulted in over 20 data-based manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals, and one clinical skills textbook. She is one of several scientists to have two patents. She is a seasoned nurse educator with experience teaching across the curriculum including live, hybrid, online, and synchronous delivery methods. Her recent work has been exploring ChatGPT to identify best practices and the use of chatbots to increase learner engagement.
Ryan is a lifelong learner with a passion for technology and design. In his role as a Learning Solutions UI/UX Designer at Sentinel U, he collaborates with both internal and external users to elevate the product portfolio. His accomplishments involve creating an effective end-user data collection system, translating insights into actionable design recommendations through prototyping, and promoting cross-company collaboration in product development efforts. Outside of work, Ryan is a cat enthusiast, gardener, and ceramist based in Rhode Island.
