Abstract:
The planning and execution of a Virtual Interprofessional Education Day (IPE Day) involves orchestrating a complex network spanning ten campuses, coordinating 30 concurrent ZOOM rooms, involving twenty distinct healthcare professions, engaging over 1,900 students, and mobilizing 120 volunteer facilitators. Attendees experienced a diverse array of activities, including simulated encounters and virtual escape rooms. This ambitious live, virtual event necessitated a concerted effort from numerous institutional departments. Navigating the intricacies of such a large-scale undertaking required adept relationship management, meticulous attention to the needs of event participants, and seamless coordination among key institutional stakeholders. These elements were pivotal in ensuring the success of this interprofessional endeavor.
