Chris Ryals is a SimCapture for Skills Impact Manager at Laerdal Medical. Chris joined Laerdal in 2022 and has had many years of experience obtained from his previous role as the Operations Program Manager for the Navy Medical Modeling and Simulation Training office. Chris is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist recognized by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare with a background in Pre-Hospital and Nursing Education. He served as a Hospital Corpsman in the Navy for 10 years specializing as a Radiation Health Technician and Naval Medical Instructor. During his time as a Medical Instructor, he received the Master Training Specialist and Allied Health Instructor certifications having accumulated over 6,000 hours of teaching and skills lab experience. Chris aims to leverage his expertise in curriculum development, adult education best practices, and medical skill development, to create training programs that are effective, efficient, and engaging.
