A Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist (SOS) is a key component in ensuring the efficient execution of medical simulation scenarios. The Clinical Simulation Operations Specialist role primarily focuses on supporting simulated learning experiences and strategies while promoting student performance and managing all clinical simulation resources effectively. With fifteen years of experience in higher education and twelve years of experience in clinical simulation, Alfred Toledo began as a simulator seller, and later as a repair technician for high-fidelity simulators for the distribution company SimMed SA, providing services in the Dominican Republic, Panama, Chile and Puerto Rico. He has also been a medical simulation consultant for six institutions in Latin America. He has been Director of Operations for the Pedro Henriquez Ureña National University and General Director for the Eugenio María de Hostos University, both in the Dominican Republic. He is currently an Operations Specialist for the Center for Patient Safety at the University of Miami.
