Molly Schleicher is an Educational Specialist with Oxford Medical Simulation. As a nurse with inpatient and outpatient experience and a love for learning, she fell into simulation education about 4.5 years ago while working as a Simulation Educator at Robert Morris University outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After beginning her career as a simulationist, she obtained her Masters in Nursing Education (MSN) and completed her certification with the Society for Simulation in Healthcare as a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE). In addition to running simulations, Molly loves to debrief and is Harvard-trained in debriefing. She also loves to work with faculty on curriculum development, implementation planning and outcomes analysis. Outside of her life as an Educational Specialist, Molly is a mommy to two beautiful young children – Jackson (5, who loves to take care of patients in VR) and Alva Mae (3). She also has two wild dachshunds, Murphy and Ralphie with her husband of 8 years, Luke. They love to be outside in the yard, traveling as a family, and going to concerts and musicals (pre-pandemic, now socially-distanced).
