The New Zealand Association for Simulation in Healthcare (NZASH) Conference 2024 is scheduled for Wednesday 13 until Friday 15 November 2024 at Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre, Christchurch, New Zealand. The New Zealand Association for Simulation in Healthcare (NZASH), is a national organization for healthcare simulation in New Zealand. NZASH is a forum for education and a network of professionals interested in healthcare simulation. The nonprofit NZASH organization represents doctors, nurses, educationalists, clinical simulation technicians, paramedics, allied health, academics, industry groups and managers who use clinical simulation as a tool for education, training and research to enhance safety and quality for patients. As an official media partner, Healthysimulation.com strongly endorses readers to attend the 2024 conference and to connect with NZASH for their society membership options! Check out our upcoming webinar to learn more about the NZASH organization!

NZASH was incorporated as a Society in 2004 after an initial healthcare simulation interest group meet up in Hamilton, New Zealand, and is a non-profit association with an elected executive committee who work for the Society on an unpaid basis. The organization continues to explore ways NZASH can add value to the members and develop healthcare simulation in New Zealand and beyond. NZASH is a committed and diverse group of healthcare simulation professionals who meet regularly to connect resources and people within New Zealand and beyond for clinical simulation.

The conference location Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre has been designed as Ōtautahi Christchurch’s ‘gathering place’. Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre is the first of New Zealand’s new generation convention centers, an international standard venue that showcases the very best of New Zealand. Located in the thriving center of the South Island’s largest city and close to Christchurch International Airport, Te Pae Christchurch is ideally positioned to allow guests and delegates to enjoy a unique and authentic experience of the city and the wider region.

The 2024 NZASH conference overall theme is “SimEnable” which aims to enable health professionals to deliver best care healthcare simulation.
