These products are created and designed in the United Kingdom but produced and manufactured in Florida. Every manikin demonstrates incredible realism and the very highest build quality. With an ever-evolving range, the company develops preterm and newborn babies as well as children and adults, making each one available in multiple ethnicities.
Micro-Preemie: Lifecast’s new Micro-Preemie Baby Manikin has been created by the company’s team in the United Kingdom, along with the invaluable assistance of Dr. Alok Sharma, Consultant Neonatologist at Southampton Hospital, England. The development of this manikin can help prepare healthcare providers in the urgent medical management of these most vulnerable of patients.
Preterm & Full Term Babies: Echo Healthcare’s manikin range now includes a 28 to 29 week premature baby featuring full airway and UVC Umbilicus. The newborn baby is a highly accurate and lifelike infant designed to create an emotional response during education and training.
DDH Baby: Working with the team from The Royal Surrey Hospital, Lifecast Body Simulation has been able to produce the world’s first Hip Dysplasia Examination Manikin. This innovative manikin allows clinical staff to replicate the examination by involving gentle manipulation of the baby’s hip joints to check if there are any problems. The baby comes with all the features of the standard ALS Baby.
Infant (3 to 6 Months): Echo Healthcare added an Infant to the Lifecast Family with the addition of a 3- to 6-month infant featuring the same ultra-realism customers have come to expect. By encouraging more natural handling and creating an emotional response, Lifecast Infant achieves a new level of realism in medical simulation training.
Water Rescue Toddler: This is a toddler manikin designed to simulate wet or dry lung drowning and thoracic bleeding. As part of our ongoing quest to create increasingly realistic and challenging medical simulation scenarios, the team at Lifecast Body Simulation has created a variant of the existing Lifecast Toddler capable of producing wet lung drowning or thoracic bleeding effects.
Resternotomy Manikin: This manikin, Harley, has been created from a collaboration between the team at Lifecast Body Simulation Ltd. and the Royal Brompton Hospital in London. Harley has been specifically designed to facilitate high-fidelity simulation of emergency resternotomy for cardiac deterioration and/or arrest following cardiac surgery.
Toddler & Children: Lifecast Body Simulation toddler and child manikins are highly accurate and lifelike. Based on the lifecasts and scans of real children, the Lifecast Toddler (based on a three-year-old) and Child (based on an eight-year-old) feature highly lifelike details.
Adult Male & Female: Based on the lifecasts and scans of real people, Lifecast Adults feature lifelike details, including replication of veins and underlying structures, hair and precise anatomical mouths and airways enabling ALS airway management.
Senior Male & Female: These manikins represent an 82-year-old male and female adult bodies. Lifecast Senior features nuanced and lifelike details, such as replication of veins and underlying structures like hair. It also includes an airway and articulated mouth for airway management. Available in a wide range of ethnicities and created with the same weight and height of an average senior adult, the Lifecast Senior will encourage more natural handling, bringing a new level of realism to medical training.
