Key Responsibilities
As a core member of the team, you will:
- Collaborate with leadership to plan and implement strategic initiatives for the SBL Centre.
- Lead and evaluate IPE simulation experiences across the School of Nursing and beyond.
- Manage and assess the Standardized Patient program to enhance simulation realism.
- Partner with faculty to develop and integrate simulation-based learning into curricula, including moulage preparation.
- Collect program evaluation data to measure the impact of simulation on learning outcomes.
- Champion best practices in pre-briefing, facilitation, and debriefing of simulations.
- Engage in scholarly activities to support and enhance the SBL Centreโs goals.
What Weโre Looking For
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- Education: MN/MSN (required); PhD in Nursing with a focus on simulation (preferred).
- Licensure: Current BCCNM RN practicing license.
- Certification: Current CHSE certification or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 5 years in nursing SBL education, with a focus on IPE and Standardized Patients.
- Skills:ย Strong communication, mentorship, project management, and organizational abilities.
