A defibrillator simulator is a simulator which mimics a real life defibrillator which is used in the event of a cardiac arrest or cardiac based emergency to care for critically ill patients. A defibrillator is used in clinical practice to care for patients in cardiac arrest, for pacing or monitoring of arrhythmia presentations such as supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) before, during and after treatment. The SIM VS Monitor and Defibrillator are easy to use and automatically connect. There are programmed or free styled scenarios available to enable scenario flexibility. There is a comprehensive scenario library available for nursing, EMS, and respiratory therapists. A scenario editor allows for either creation of new scenarios or editing of pre-existing scenarios.
A community server functionality allows for scenario sharing across organizations as well. TruCorp TruAED is an AED application for objective CPR education for learners. TruAED, is a self-directed simulated AED application that can be used for CPR education. TruAED allows the ability to Familiarize with common AEDs and receive feedback on the quality of CPR provided. TruAED can be used for education of the Quality Standards: CPR and AED training in the community outlined by the Resuscitation Council UK.
TruAED has a self-directed simulation approach which provides objective performance feedback to improve CPR skills and increase confidence in clinical skill abilities. Performance feedback and corrective actions are provided with real time audio, graphics and text feedback from the TruAED. TruAED is easy to use and suitable for healthcare professionals, first responders, and also the general public who wish to learn CPR skills safely.
Three modes are available: practice mode, self-directed education, or assessment mode.
