Dr. Kim Leighton is Executive Director of ITQAN Clinical Simulation and Innovation Center at Hamad Medical Corporation in Doha, Qatar. Kim has enjoyed 17 years facilitating learning with simulation in nursing, medicine, and allied health in academic and practice settings. While president of the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning, she led development of Standards of Best Practice: SimulationSM. Kim is co-author of the award-winning book Simulation Champions and manages the website Evaluating Healthcare Simulation.
