He is board-certified in surgery, thoracic surgery and congenital heart surgery. Dr. Phillips is interested in developing quality improvement programs with a family-centric approach. He spoke on the benefits of simulation, and the futuristic technologies Cedars-Sinai is using NOW to branch out into various departments within the medical center to support innovation and performance improvement.
